US: Abused Deaf Women's Advocacy Services  ADWSA

Since the fall of 2004 ADWAS has been in a partnership with the National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH), which is based in Austin, Texas to run the NDVH Hotline for deaf callers out of ADWAS office. This program allows deaf victims anywhere in the United States access to a deaf advocate during the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, Pacific Time. Both ADWAS and NDVH are now working towards fine tuning their program and looking ahead at potential 24/7 hotline coverage at ADWAS.
