Tips for Teens
MySpace and the Illinois Library Association provided
funding for the printing and distribution of 400 each of the three bookmarks
to every public library in Illinois.
The American Library Association joined the MySpace and Illinois Library
Association partnership in June 2007 and one million NetSafe bookmarks were
distributed at the 2007 ALA Annual Conference in Washington,
DC. One of
the three bookmarks is "Safe Blogging: Tips for Teens." Two others are:
"Social Networking: Tips for Parents" and "Dealing with Cyberbullies: Tips

Young Adult Library Services Association
of the American Library Association has useful resources for libraries to
promote the week. Some public libraries own fiction books that have
deaf characters in them.
